Google Offering $50 Play Credit Over Pixel Smartphone Delays Dylan Duarte October 31, 2016 News There was a time when a delay in shipping smartphones would have been a bigger deal than it currently is. However, thanks to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7s blowing up and burning down houses, nobody seems to mind waiting a little longer. While Samsung are still licking their wounds, Google is having a grand ol’ time with their new Pixel-branded smartphones, which are experiencing shipping delays due to their overwhelming popularity. To placate consumers who won’t get their phones on time, the company is offering $50 in Google Play Store credits, which will arrive shortly after the phone does. The company has not said when the late phones will arrive, unfortunately. Talk about a good problem to have. Google’s Pixel phones have been well-received across the board, so it’s really no surprise that they’re having trouble keeping up with the demand. Several models are currently sold out on the Google Store, as well. Share This With The World!
