There was a time when a delay in shipping smartphones would have been a bigger deal than it currently is. However, thanks to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7s blowing up and burning down houses, nobody seems to mind waiting a little longer.

While Samsung are still licking their wounds, Google is having a grand ol’ time with their new Pixel-branded smartphones, which are experiencing shipping delays due to their overwhelming popularity. To placate consumers who won’t get their phones on time, the company is offering $50 in Google Play Store credits, which will arrive shortly after the phone does. The company has not said when the late phones will arrive, unfortunately.

Talk about a good problem to have. Google’s Pixel phones have been well-received across the board, so it’s really no surprise that they’re having trouble keeping up with the demand. Several models are currently sold out on the Google Store, as well.
