Google Glass Will Be Manufactured in the US Dylan Duarte March 27, 2013 When Google starts selling the first Google Glass headsets later this year, they’ll have been made in the good ol’ US of A, specifically the Foxconn plant in Santa Clara, California. This will allow Google to keep a close eye on the initial production. The first product that Google produced on US soil was the Nexus Q media streamer, which never got as far as a wide public release. The next few weeks will see the production of only a few thousand headsets, which is a much smaller run than most Google products. It’s unknown how much Google will ramp up production, or if they’ll move production elsewhere when they do. Google has started to announce the names of those are who going to be able to purchase the Google Glass Explorer Edition, who should be able to purchase them soon. There’s also those who registered to purchase back at Google’s I/O conference from 2012. I’m excited to hear some real consumer feedback. via The Verge Share This With The World!
