Google Adds Bitcoin to Currency Conversion Feature Dylan Duarte July 16, 2014 Extras Google, not the company but the actual search engine, has no shortage of tricks up its sleeve. I use the currency converter feature on a regular basis, though in retrospect, I have no idea why as I only ever deal with US currency. It’s a great feature though and as if its list of extensive currency wasn’t big enough, it just got one bigger. Google will now tell you the currency exchange rate of Bitcoin. Google is partnering with Coinbase to provide the conversions. They aren’t the first to do this, however. This latest addition is a response to Microsoft doing the same thing in their Bing search engine. If Bitcoin is still struggling to gain credibility, this should certainly go a long way in helping. As of the time of this writing, one Bitcoin is worth a little over $614 USD, which I now know thanks to Google’s conversion. Now if only anyone could tell me how much all these dogecoins are worth. via Tech Crunch Share This With The World!
