I finally remembered to call my cable company during business hours, and the free router deal is true! It’ll cost me $9.95 shipping, but as long as I have service with them it will be no charge. They did offer to have a tech come out and install it (which would bump the cost to $125.00), but I declined. If I can’t figure out how to set up a router I should no longer be allowed to use a computer. So that is supposed to be here next week, and then mom’s new (old) computer will be online as well…which means no more sharing! I couldn’t be more excited.
