FPS Games Go Haywire in Vista Stephen Fung February 13, 2007 As expected with any new OS, there are issues. This time it has to do with gaming; something that Vista is supposed to be better at. Games like CounterStrike, Half-Life 2, Doom 3. and F.E.A.R. are all on the list of list of things that just don’t work right. Experts blame still-flaky software drivers, Vista’s complexity and a dearth of new video cards optimized for Vista’s new rendering technology, DirectX 10.
