End Baggage Claim Nightmares with the easy2pick Wireless Luggage Finder Beth Snyder March 15, 2011 If you travel via airplane with any regularity, you’ve seen every conceivable method of identifying luggage on the carousel. I’ve seen obnoxious colours of straps, names written in huge letters with permanent marker, stuffed animals attached to zipper pulls, etc. But if you’re travelling for business and trying to look at least a little professional, none of those things are really legitimate options. You don’t want whoever is picking you up at the airport to get the impression you’re not business-like enough for their company. Which is where the easy2pick Wireless Luggage Finder comes in. It’s a combination luggage tag and wireless transmitter. When your suitcase gets within 66 feet (20 meters), the keychain sounds an alarm, vibrates and flashes a light to let you know it’s coming. Sure, it might not actually be in sight on the carousel yet, but you’ll know it’s coming…and that it didn’t take an unscheduled side-trip to Bermuda. Each one has a unique code, so the odds of mistaken baggage identification are pretty slim. The battery is supposed to last around 100 hours, and the luggage tag has built-in sensors so it shuts off while in the cargo hold of the plane. You can pick one up for $24.95 US. Source: Oh Gizmo!
