CES 2017 is right around the corner, which means it’s time for companies to take part in their annual pre-CES ritual of unveiling the things that they should be saving for the show. I don’t pretend to understand it, but I’m also not about to complain about all the cool gadget news coming our way.

The Dell 27 Ultrathin monitor wears its selling point on its sleeve. By moving all of the guts to the base, Dell has constructed one of the thinnest monitors ever made. The 27-inch Quad HD monitor supports HDR, but not the same quality of HDR found in 4K televisions. The monitor can pivot on its stand and according to Dell offers a 178-degree viewing angle. There’s also a USB-C connection with power support, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an audio line out.

The Dell 27 Ultrathin will be available on March 23rd for $700. That’s a good chunk of money, but it’s also an impressive looking monitor.
