Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs in Indie Biopic Dylan Duarte April 2, 2012 Extras It was announced Sunday (April 1st, I know, I know) that Ashton Kutcher is set to play the role of Steve Jobs in the upcoming (and inevitable) bio pic. It will be an independent picture, directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) from a script by Matt Whiteley, going by the simple name of Jobs. Obviously, the move will chronicle the life of Apple’s co-founder, but how much and what parts of that life have yet to be revealed. And for those of you wondering, Jeff Sneider of Variety confirmed that this is not an April Fool’s prank, saying “do you REALLY think the top Variety brass & my editors would let me post an APRIL FOOL’S DAY joke on the homepage?” While I’m wary to trust anything on the internet, especially on April 1st of all days, Sneider raises a good point. I’ve never been a big fan of Kutcher’s serious side – or his comedic side, for that matter. I don’t think there’s much of a resemblance, either. Color me baffled. I will, however, give Kutcher the courtesy of reserving judgment until the film is released. via The Verge Share This With The World!
