Archos Might Be Launching Windows Phone in the Future Dylan Duarte February 3, 2014 While most of us were watching the comedy of errors that was Superbowl XLVIII, France-based electronics company Archos may have been cooking up plans to build a Windows Phone device. In an interview with website TrustedReviews, Archos CEO Loic Poirier said that while they’re currently committed to Google, the Windows Phone market has matured over the years and that they’ll launch a Windows Phone device “when the time is right.” The way Poririer spoke, it gives the impression that the right time could come very soon. There aren’t a lot of manufacturers putting out Windows Phones, so if Archos is serious about branching out, Microsoft should welcome them with open arms. A company that excels at budget products like Archos does could be just what Microsoft needs. If nothing else, more products means more competition which means lower prices, so consumers should be happy. via Into Mobile Share This With The World!
