Acer Unveils the Iconia Tab A700 with 1080p Display

I’m still a little amazed at how quickly tablet computers became an everyday thing, and yet while I sit in dumbfounded wonder, the technology is advancing faster than my brain can process it.

Acer has officially revealed the Iconia Tab A700, which according to All Touch Tablet is an Android-based tablet PC that’s powered by NVIDIA’s 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3, 1GB of RAM, and sports HDMI and micro-USB ports, 10.1-inch “IPS-quality” 1080p display. Accompanying the A700 will be the A701, a 3G enabled model.

The reveal was just a mere teaser, so details like price range and release date are as-of-yet unknown. Hopefully our guys on the ground can get some hands-on time with the Iconia and let us know how it handles.
