That Went Way Too Fast

So here I am on my last night in Tahoe, and wondering where the heck the week went exactly. I’m torn between being glad to sleep in my own bed again and wishing I could stay here forever. But, all good things must come to an end, and the party has to be over some time. You’d think after knowing each other 21 or so years and living across the country from one another for the last 14 of them we’d be better at parting, but it only gets harder every time.
