xlSync iOS & Micro-USB Cables Are Charging Brilliance Beth Snyder July 10, 2011 You’ve all done this, probably several times this week. Your device needs charging, yet the outlet is located in some out-of-the-way place, or there is nowhere to put your device while it charges other than the floor. This is due to the ridiculously short length of the cord on the charger, right? Maybe not all the time, but a lot of the time that’s the case. My new phone’s charger cord is barely three feet long, but luckily the extra one I bought is six feet, so I leave the stupid short one at home and travel with the longer one. This could be a nice alternative to buying another charger with a longer cord, though. xlSync USB cables come in two versions – one for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and one for micro-USB devices. Both versions are 6.5 ft. (2 meters) long. The iOS version does not work with iPod Shuffle, so you’re out of luck if that’s what you wanted an extension to charge. Really, that’s all there is to it. The iOS version is available in black or white, and the micro-USB version is available only in black. Do people really worry about what colour their charger cord is? Each version is available for $12.95 US, so you can pick up one for each of your devices without breaking the bank. Source: Technabob Share This With The World!
