Work Like a Dog Day Beth Snyder August 5, 2011 It is entirely too funny for me that this is the same day as Beer Day. Talk about your conflicts of interest! Anyway, this one is to celebrate those who untiringly labour once they have a task in front of them. Not to be confused with workaholics, those who work like a dog also have lives outside of work. They aren’t lazy by any stretch of the imagination, but they do understand and appreciate the value in chasing a ball or curling up in the sun for a nap. I believe this describes me pretty clearly…when I’m working, I’m working as hard as I can until the job is done. But in my off time, I put that same singlemindedness to work enjoying myself.
