But here’s my question, and maybe this is just me, but WHY does everyone you’ve ever known in your life find it necessary to send a friend request? I just got one from my ex-fiance. We broke up in 1987. I also got one from a girl who used to be my best friend in second grade before her family moved across the country. I realize it’s supposed to be this whole “oh my gosh, I haven’t seen you in years” thing, but in my world, there’s a reason for that! If I didn’t bother to keep in touch over the years, the simple fact that we are both on the internet (a feat which is not all that hard to accomplish given technology today) is not reason for us to become friends again!
