Unlocked Google Pixel 128GB for Only $499, No Contract Michael Kwan October 18, 2017 News The new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are pretty tremendous. We have one in the lab right now and we’ll have the full written review for you very soon. The thing is that it’s kind of experience. If you still want that pure Android experience while saving several hundred dollars, there’s a great deal on an unlocked Google Pixel 128GB on Amazon right now. While you can expect to pay $649 for the 64GB Google Pixel 2, the 128GB Google Pixel from last year is now listed at just $499.99. If we were to do an apples-to-apples comparison, the 128GB Google Pixel 2 lists at $749, so that means you’re effectively saving $250 by picking up the last generation model instead. That’s pretty substantial. Just because it’s last year’s Pixel doesn’t mean this smartphone is some slouch. You still get a peppy Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 graphics, 4GB of memory, a 5.0-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, a 12.3MP camera on the back with EIS, an 8MP camera on the front, the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 2,770 mAh battery. And unlike the new Pixel 2, this unlocked Google Pixel has a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are a couple of caveats to these savings, because of course there are. First, this is certified refurbished, so while it’s not brand new, it should be totally up to spec. Second, it’s not being sold to you directly from Google, but rather through a third-party reseller, so you may have to jump through some different hoops should you encounter any concerns. Either way, though, I’d say this is a pretty great deal. Hop on over to Amazon to snatch it up while there’s still stock, as I imagine it’ll be pretty popular. Share This With The World!
