As we all know, I have an obsession with all things LEGO. Thus I need one of these, even though I was not previously aware I was in the market for a boombox. The best part for me is that it not only looks like a giant LEGO brick, it will stack with the LEGO alarm clock in case you also have one of those. Which I will.

As with any boombox, you can use it for the AM/FM radio and CDs, but it will also play CDRs and CDRWs, which many will not. You can program it to play up to 20 tracks, and it offers analogue tuning with a digital LED tuning display. It has a pair of 1W speakers with bass boost as well as a headphone jack and a 3.5mm audio input for your MP3 player. The studs on top can be used to control volume and tune the radio. If you’re familiar with the standard 8-stud LEGO brick, you’ll know how big this is when I tell you it is 10 times that size.

These are expected to be in stock as of April 18, and will cost £49.99.
