There is MORE THAN ONE browser out there, and many people use them! In my daily web surfing, I now am required to use IE, Firefox, AND Chrome just to get around. Seriously, it is NOT that hard to make sure your web design is compatible with all browsers. This is what happens when people are made “webmaster” without having any education or training outside of FrontPage. Trust me, I know. I was one of those people for years. But it is perfectly awful for your potential site visitors (and in many cases, paying customers) when it’s a crap shoot to try to figure out which browser will work. Especially when in some cases it’s a browser version that’s the issue. If you can’t keep up with software manufacturers, perhaps you should hire a professional to handle your website. Or at the very least try better to pretend you are one.
