TheSelfie: More Natural-Looking Poses Beth Snyder December 15, 2013 Not too long ago, I posted about Shutterball, which allows you to use a remote for taking selfies. Now let’s talk about TheSelfie, which is of a similar idea, yet completely different. As a side note, it still bugs me to use the word “selfie”, but so be it. TheSelfie is a remote shutter system that allows you to snap a self-portrait without having your arm cut off or in goofy perspective. It’s only compatible with Apple devices, but it’s incredibly simple to use. Just prop your iDevice up so it points at what you want a photo of, insert TheSelfie’s plug into the audio jack, and snap away. It requires no specialized software, no app, no startup…just plug and play. As opposed to Shutterball, TheSelfie is a corded device, which allows you to be up to 4.5 feet away from your device when snapping a picture. Plenty of room, really. Since it’s hard-wired, there are no worries about having a dead battery, and it can be used countless times in a row. You can pick one up for just $20.00 US. There’s even still time to order one and put it under your tree! Source: Damn Geeky Share This With The World!
