I mentioned the other day that the OnePlus Two, the successor to the OnePlus One (pictured above), was likely to hit in the third quarter of this year. Now we know that OnePlus is announcing something this coming Monday, June 1st, and in all likelihood it’s the OnePlus Two.

At the time of this writing, that’s less than a week away, but the actual phone probably won’t ship until the third quarter, as the earlier rumors suggested. People should be excited, because the OnePlus One was a high-end $300 smartphone. The OnePlus Two looks to follow in its footsteps, being a flagship-quality smartphone with a decent price.

$399 will get you a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a fingerprint scanner to keep all your stuff safe and secure.

That’s a hundred bucks more than the OnePlus One, sure, but $400 is still a great price for that set of specs. Of course, there’s a chance we’re all wrong and the June 1st announcement is something else entirely, but I don’t think so.
