The News: Sunday, November 11 Late Edition Beth Snyder November 11, 2012 I’m going to have to ask you to bear with me again. Today I attended a tribute/memorial production (it makes sense if you’re in the entertainment industry) for my friend and colleague who passed away unexpectedly in September. It was amazing. Such an outpouring of love, and laughter, and support, and tears, and more laughter, and stories, and more tears, and fondness, and some politics (he was the lighting director for John Kerry’s and Barack Obama’s campaigns in 2004 and 2008, and had started to do the same for Obama’s 2012 campaign), and more tears. And more laughter. And some dance. But mostly it was a room full of people remembering, and that’s as it should be. Wherever you are, and whatever you’re doing…you did good here on earth, Rikk. And your absence leaves a hole we simply cannot fill. We can only try to stuff it full of memories of you. Lord knows there are plenty. And since you were an Apple guy through and through, I’ll start this one with… TechReviewSource and the Apple iPad Mini (Wi-Fi) TweakTown shares its thoughts on the GIGABYTE Z77X-UP7 (Intel Z77) Motherboard techPowerUp gets its hands on the CM Storm Recon Gaming Mouse & Scorpion Bungee Real World Labs weighs in on the Corsair Neutron GTX 480GB SATA III SSD HotHardware presents Gigabyte Osmium Keyboard: Great Design, Poor Accuracy eTeknix goes inside the Aerocool Mechatron Full-Tower PC Chassis Hardware Canucks tests out the Corsair Neutron 240GB & Neutron GTX 240GB SSDs FrostyTech chills out with the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Performer Liquid Cooling Heatsink KitGuru takes a look at the Sparkle Calibre X680 Captain Bjorn3D spends some time with the ASUS F2A85-V PRO: The A85X Chipset TrustedReviews sits down with the Microsoft Surface ThinkComputers gets into the Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 Finally, TestFreaks beats the heat with the Noctua NF-A9x14 92mm PWM Fan Sleep well, my friend.
