The News: Karma Edition

Probably I shouldn’t gloat, yet I cannot help myself. It was officially announced this morning that the local bar I used to frequent will be cutting back dramatically on its hours, and closing for good at the end of July. And honestly, all I could think was, if you hadn’t been such a huge jerk and fired the wrong people for stupid reasons while continuing to employ the useless people for the wrong reasons, maybe this would not have happened. I am certainly not the only former regular who chose to walk away, which took some doing as I’d been a patron under the owner before this one. So, while I feel badly for the two remaining employees I actually like, I do not have any sympathy for the current owner. He made his bed, and now he shall find out how comfortable it is.
