The News: Card Playing Edition Beth Snyder December 28, 2011 I had a heck of a time picking a holiday for today. Not that there were very many, but they were all dumb. As evidenced by the fact that I’ve chosen Card Playing Day. Ah well, what do you do…if I didn’t use obscure holidays, I might actually have to think about this. It’s harder than you’d think, given that I try very hard not to repeat them (not that it never happens, but it is pretty rare). Anyway, since this is the holiday, perhaps I’ll have to call that boy of mine and see if he wants to spend some time with me and a deck of cards. It tends to make him crazy, since he actually plays and I just dabble, but at least we’d get to see each other for the first time in almost two months.
