Imagine my shock and amazement when I got to work this morning expecting a 16-hour concert day to find it was only two trucks! And even better, that it would take us only 3 1/2 hours to load the show in! Which means I got a surprise five-hour stretch of time off today. I came home, because any day I don’t have to eat catering and can not wear work boots for an extended period of time is a good one. Plus, they tell us it should only take 90 minutes to load the show out, so I should be home with my feet up yet again no later than 1:00am. Not a bad day at all.
