T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note Coming August 8th

T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Note finally has an official release date, as well as pricing details. The new phone will be available on August 8th. The pricing is a little complicated. If you purchase the phone with a 2-year contract on a “Classic” voice and data plan, it’ll run you $249.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. If you buy the phone for use with one of T-Mobile’s “Value” plans, it’ll only run $199.99, but you’ll have to pay an additional $20 per month for 20 months as an Equipment Installment Plan. That means that after the four months is up, the phone will have cost you six hundred dollars.

The Samsung Galaxy Note will launch with Android 4.0, Samsung’s “Premium Suite” of S-Pen apps, and T-Mobile regulars like Dropbox, Evernote, and Square. The phone will be running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It also lacks LTE in favor of a stylus. Sounds good, but six hundred dollars good? Yeesh.
