Surface-Pro-3

We have almost a month to go until the Surface Pro 3’s release date of June 20, but some consumers will get a chance to test drive the new laptop/tablet hybrid once demo units hit Microsoft stores on June 6.

Unfortunately, there aren’t a whole lot of Microsoft stores out there just yet. The ones that do exist can be found in big cities like Los Angeles, Miami, Austin, and of course, New York City. Microsoft is slowly opening stores in smaller cities, but that doesn’t help the consumers hoping to try out the Surface Pro 3 in the next few weeks.

The early impressions of the Surface Pro 3 are mostly positive, but not overwhelmingly so. It’s a step up from its predecessor, which isn’t surprising, but it still seems to fall short due to its insistence to fill both the consumer’s laptop and tablet needs. Check out our review round-up to see what some of the bigger sites around the web are saying about Microsoft’s latest device. Even better, if you live near a Microsoft store, give one a whirl before you commit to anything. Some of the complaints concerned the device’s ergonomic qualities, so you’ll really want to try it out to see for yourself.

The 128GB model of the Surface Pro 3 will be available on June 20, but the other models won’t ship for two more months, making them available in August.
