It turns out that my cable company will provide me with a wireless router for the duration of time I have service with them at no charge, as long as I pay them $9.95 shipping/handling. What they provide is a Netgear 802.11n, so I think I’ll be good to go! I always knew there was a reason I chose to rent the modem rather than buying one, although until now I thought it was because they replace it every twelve seconds in an attempt to fix my intermittent connection.
