Laptop Frustration Beth Snyder September 16, 2010 I have spent entirely too many hours today trying to make my wireless router play with my laptop. Finally, the only way to get it to work was to disable all security. Which obviously is not my best option, but I cannot make the security protocols get on the same page with each other. It wasn’t until much later it occurred to me that the fault lies with my laptop. The router is less than four months old. The laptop is almost seven years. I guess wireless is not necessarily in my future at home until I can afford a new laptop. Figures.
