Google Nexus 5 Rumoured to Have Nikon Camera Allan Schroeder March 19, 2013 This rumour comes from PhoneArena, and sets up the Google Nexus 5 to have Nikon branded camera technology to enhance its photography capabilities. Word is that the next Google phone will have a Nikon branded “triple camera sensor.” This falls on the heels of Google’s Vic Gundotra claiming that the next generation of Nexus will have “insanely good cameras.” You might already know that Nikon is not exactly new to the Android camera scene, having recently launched the Nikon Coolpix 800c and recently signing patent agreements with Microsoft allowing them to develop Android based cameras. Digital cameras and smartphones are integrating more and more. It’s only a matter of time before we start seeing camera phones packing cameras that are better than the digital point and shoots of just a couple years ago. Nikon imaging technology wrapped in a smartphone package might be just what we’re waiting for. Share This With The World!
