Cheesecake Day Beth Snyder July 30, 2011 Either you love cheesecake or you hate it…I don’t believe there is a middle ground there. Me, I love it. It’s kind of a pain to make, but I manage to turn one out a few times a year. I think my crowning accomplishment was the pumpkin-caramel swirl cheesecake I made for Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago. It takes two days to make, and is so rich you can’t eat more than a sliver of it without going into a coma, but it is amazing. However, for summer, I make one with crushed pineapple that’s really light (instead of all cream cheese in the filling, I use some whipped cream as well) as well as being no-bake. Since today is Cheesecake Day, I believe I’ll have to get one of those going this afternoon. bit-tech starts us off with Driver: San Francisco Multiplayer TechReviewSource sits down with the Acer Aspire Ethos AS8951G TechRadar goes mobile with the Vodafone 555 Blue HotHardware spends some time with Apple’s Sandy Bridge-Based Mac Mini MissingRemote rocks out with the Grace Digital GDI-IRMS300 Internet Micro Hi-Fi Stereo System XSReviews examines the Antec High Current Pro 850w RBMods tries on a pair of TTesports Shock Spin Headphones techPowerUp goes inside the Fractal Design CORE 3000 TweakNews takes a look at the Asus O!Play HD2 Media Player APH Networks gets its hands on the NZXT Sentry Mesh Fan Controller PureOverclock shares its thoughts on the ASRock Core HT eTeknix beats the heat with the Thermalright T-RAD VGA Cooler TrustedReviews focuses on the Nikon Coolpix P300 Technic3D weighs in on the Gainward GeForce GTX 590 To finish us off, KitGuru chills out with the Be Quiet!
