Apparently, somewhere in Indiana, today there is a contest to see who can tell the biggest lie. Me, I’m starting with “I love going to work early on Saturday morning, especially for a three-show day!” With any luck at all, all of you are planning something way more exciting to do with your Saturday. Like, say, attending one of the three performances we’re doing, should you happen to live here. Or, you could be doing what I’m planning, and watch a bunch of college football either in person or on TV. That’s the only saving grace to what I do most of the time when we have shows…I’m off in a booth, surrounded by computers that control all sorts of neat stuff, and once it’s up and running I am free to do whatever I want while the show is actually going on. I can live with that.
