Today I received via email a FedEx return label to RMA my “fabulous” new PowerSkin case for my HTC Thunderbolt. Approximately five weeks of use, and it stopped accepting a charge. It would still pass a charge through to my phone’s battery, but the case itself was dead. Turns out the port for the charger is crap. I’m refraining from saying anything terribly bad about it until I see how well the replacement process goes…and if the replacement case does the same thing. But I’m leaning toward “maybe you shouldn’t waste 60 bucks on this thing”. I’m already a little cross, though, as I had to print my own label and now will have to drive to FedEx to send it back. Maybe that’s how it works now, I haven’t had to return anything for a few years. But it’s taken the better part of a week to get this far. We’ll see.
