Anonymous Tip Puts Nexus 5 at $299 Dylan Duarte October 8, 2013 Here’s something you don’t see often. The Nexus 5, like most successors, looks to be an improvement over LG’s Nexus 4. However, unlike most successors, the Nexus 5 may be debuting at a cheaper price than the Nexus 4 did. Unverified as it may be, an anonymous tipster told Phone Arena that the 16GB Nexus 5 will sell for $299, when the 16GB Nexus 4 debuted at $349. Another anonymous source recently divulged that the Nexus 5 would sell for half of the iPhone 5S price tag, which currently sells unlocked for $649, making $299 a little less than half. Either way, it looks like the Nexus 5 is going to be fairly affordable in terms of smartphones. There will also be a 32GB model, which will supposedly sell for $399. What do you guys think? If these prices prove to be true, is it enough bang for your buck? via CNET Share This With The World!
