Alcatel’s Pop Star Smartphone Will Offer Denim Back Dylan Duarte September 4, 2015 News I don’t pretend to have good fashion sense, when it comes to clothes, hairstyles, or accessories, but I’m pretty confident in my decision to not use a smartphone with denim on the back. Maybe I’m wrong though and denim is totally in and you really want a denim smartphone. Well, good news, you’ll be able to get one. The OnePlus was supposed to offer a denim back cover way back when, but it never came to fruition. Luckily Alcatel has come to the rescue, offering an optional denim back for their new Pop Star smartphone. You can also get a leather backing or the more traditional plastic. On the inside, the Alcatel Pop Star sports a quad-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, and offers a 720p 5-inch display. The phone runs on Android Lollipop. It’s not exactly a powerhouse of a phone, but maybe Alcatel is really counting on people wanting that denim. Alcatel has also announced the Pop Up smartphone, which features an octa-core chip set, 2GB RAM, and a 13-megapixel camera. The screen is 720p and the battery is 2,000mAh. It’s more powerful than the Pop Star, but what about the denim?! Alcatel didn’t announce pricing or availability details for either the Pop Star or the Pop Up. Share This With The World!
