Acer-Liquid-Leap

Computex doesn’t officially kick off until Tuesday, but Acer is already plenty busy announcing a slew of new Android KitKat smartphones as well as a new fitness band.

The Acer Liquid Leap fitness band will allow wearers to track their steps, running distance, sleep cycle, and how many calories they’ve burned. By connecting to a smartphone via Bluetooth it can show call and text message notifications on its 1-inch touchscreen. Time, weather, and music functionality is all included and the battery can last for an entire week of use. It comes in five different colors and will work under water.

It’s unknown at this time which smartphones are coming to which markets.

Acer-Liquid-Jade

The Acer Liquid Jade is a mid-range smartphone that offers a 5-inch screen, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chip, 1GB RAM, 8GB of expandable memory, 13MP rear camera with full HD video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, dual SIM cards, and 2G HSPA+, among other connectivity options. In certain markets it will be bundled with the Liquid Leap fitness band.

The Acer Liquid X1 is equipped with a beefy 5.7-inch screen, 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, 13MP rear camera with full HD video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, Acer Zoom Fit, AcerRAPID, AcerFLOAT, and 4G LTE, among the usual stuff connectivity stuff. It will come in black and red be available in Q3 2014.

The Acer Liquid E600 is an entry level phone with a 5-inch display, 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB expandable memory, 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, AcerRAPID key, 4G LTE, and a bit more. It will come in black and metallic red and be available in Q4 2014 for around $316.

Acer-Liquid-E600

The Acer Liquid E700 offers a 5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, 3G HSPA+, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and triple SIM support. It will come in black and metallic red when it becomes available in Q4 2014 for $345.

Finally, the Acer Liquid Z200 is another low-end smartphone. It offers the smallest screen of the bunch at 4 inches, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB expandable memory, 3G HSPA, 2MP fixed-focus camera, and dual SIM capabilities. It will only run about $86 and be available in Q3 2014 in a variety of colors.
