You know what I just realized? My social life usually revolves around going to the bar. Which sounds bad, but honestly I don’t always drink, it’s just where my friends are. But it’s just too hard to go with the scooter and the cast and the getting in and out of the car, so I’ve just been home. Actually, I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve left the house since I had surgery. I’m going to do something about that soon, though. I get to work two hockey games this weekend, and then I’m running away to my niece’s house for a few days. Not that I’ll be doing anything different, but I’ll be on a different couch with different people, so it’ll be like a vacation.
