Somehow, I feel cheated. My only day off was yesterday, but that’s how it would have worked even if it hadn’t been a national holiday. Now I’m looking at another six solid days on another show before possibly having next week Monday off. Of course, as they saying goes, you need to make hay while the sun shines…summer is always pretty ridiculously slow for us, so I’m sure I’ll be “enjoying” some down time altogether too soon. Luckily, I’m basically caught up on almost all of my major bills, so the fact that my monitor is slowly blowing up and needs to be replaced much sooner than I had planned is not that big a deal.
