If only I didn’t have to work!! At risk of sounding boastful, I am something of a local celebrity when it comes to cookies. Every year around the holidays I spend 3-4 days in my kitchen mixing and baking and arranging on trays, to the tune of approximately 50 dozen or so cookies as well as at least four loaves of bread and several pans of gingerbread. This year, I’m planning to make cherry and blueberry breads, and on the cookie front I’ll be doing butter pecan shortbread, lemon cream cheese, coconut cashew, cream cheese walnut, soft molasses spice, white chocolate pumpkin spice, chocolate almond roca, and snowballs (which are pecan balls covered in powdered sugar).
