The tablet features what Samsung is calling an Adaptive Display, a display that offers the best picture possible by automatically adjusting the gamma, saturation, and sharpness based on what you’re watching and the color temperature and ambient lighting of the environment you’re watching it in. The tablet also uses “advanced outdoor visibility technology” to ensure that you can watch content outdoors.
Of course, the offerings of the Galaxy Tab S go far beyond just a killer screen. The tablet offers an Ultra-Power Saving Mode, the Papergarden magazine service, a partnership with Marvel that grants 3 months of free membership to the Marvel Unlimited app, and a variety of other features, including HD Netflix streaming for the first time on a Galaxy Tab in certain countries.
