It has been some time since I personally heard about a Fatal1ty product being released to the market. I may have not been paying too much attention to the product line until today. ASRock is releasing their newest in the lineup with the Fatal1ty X79 Professional motherboard.
This is normally the part where I talk about all the cool features of a product and which ones I personally like the most. However ASRock seems to have put every feature they have on this one product. There are just too many to detail as the Fatal1ty X79 Professional has everything from all four XFast utilities and F-Stream overclocking software to the Fatal1ty mouse port. It has all the usual software bundled, including THX support, Magix multimedia suite, and full support for XMP 1.3.
The Fatal1ty X79 Professional itself features all gold premium caps, a 16+2 power phase, support for both 4-way SLI and 4-way CrossfireX. As with all ASRock motherboards, this one has a UEFI BIOS but with the Fatal1ty theme. And finally to show off its overclocking ability, it is tested and rated for RAM up to 2600 MHz.
I personally feel a little shorted as the AM3+ version of this motherboard did not have all of these features. I think the black/red color theme fits with AMD much better; but with a list of features like the Fatal1ty X79 Professional, I don't think anyone on the blue team will care.
