Will the DROID Incredible X Also be the Google Nexus 5?

Last week, Verizon’s new DROID Incredible X was leaked, along with its specs. The phone will use a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 plus, 2GB of RAM, 12MP camera, 64GB of storage, and a 2500mAh battery. Now, thanks to an anonymous tip, there’s a rumor circulating that the same phone will also be a Google Nexus phone: the Nexus 5.

While the rumored Nexus 5 will share the same specs as the DROID Incredible X, the one major difference is that the Nexus 5 will come with stock Android. An additional rumor claims that we’ll be seeing Android 4.2, which won’t be a major update, but rather an updated version of Jelly Bean that includes some bug fixes and the like.

Again, a lot of this is rumors, and if all the rumors prove true, the Nexus 5 won’t be the only Nexus phone. There’s also talk of the Galaxy Nexus 2 and a Nexus device based on the LG Optimus G. One thing seems to be certain: Google is getting ready for a big Nexus push.
