The News: Leaving On a Jet Plane Edition Beth Snyder March 9, 2012 What a fabulous start to my day! Woke up ridiculously early due to a phone call telling me I have to be at work two hours earlier than originally planned (not a big deal, I have to go in at 2:30 rather than 4:30). So since I was up, I figured I’d make sure my direct deposit paycheck really did go into my account, as I’ve got some bills to pay. Not only was it there, but my federal tax refund was also there! Considering I filed my taxes exactly seven calendar days ago, I am VERY impressed! So…booked my flight, bought my mother’s birthday/Mother’s Day present, and paid my bills. So now it’s really happening, as there are no refunds on the plane ticket! In two months, I’ll be taking my first vacation in two years. Tahoe, here I come!
