Samsung Reportedly Working on 18.4-inch Tablet Dylan Duarte August 21, 2015 News Even fans of bigger tablets would probably agree: an 18.4-inch tablet would be ridiculous. Preposterous, even. Heck, my monitor is only 22 inches. Then again, the 18.4-inch tablet that Samsung is rumored to be working on likely won’t be intended for consumer use. The tablet is codenamed “Tahoe” and of course it won’t be the first tablet of its size. Larger tablets are often used for specialized tasks, mainly by companies rather than individual users. Nobody makes a tablet that big expecting somebody to want it for playing Angry Birds. The rumored specs are as follows: a TFT LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front-facing camera. Yes, front and rear cameras on an 18.4-inch tablet. The world is a wonderful place. All of this will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop, so even though it would be bigger than a lot of laptops, it will still function as a mobile device. Share This With The World!
