Got a friend who’s itching to switch? You can both score a $50 bill credit bonus if you refer your friend over to Koodo Mobile, so long as the new activation happens before the end of this month. It’s hardly newsworthy to mention that a Canadian wireless carrier has a referral program in place. The big difference with the Koodo program, at least for the next three weeks, is the size of the referral bonus. With both the referrer and the referee receiving $50 in bill credits, that’s quite a bit higher than the others. The Wind Mobile program used to be only $10 (it’s now $20 each). Fido’s program is $25 each, which is the regular offer from Koodo. The person you refer to Koodo can pick up a new handset or they can bring their phone. Either way, you both receive the bonus. You just need to hit up the refer-a-friend page to generate your specific referral code. You are limited to a maximum of $300 in bill credits per calendar year (per line), but you are not limited to how many referral offers you send out to your friends. You can even refer someone who you add on to your account. The main catch is the new referral has to stay active for at least 90 days. Your bill credits can take up to four weeks to appear.
