Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Rebooting Issue to be Fixed in Coming Weeks Dylan Duarte November 28, 2017 News While the Pixel phones are beloved in the smartphone and tech communities, the recent launches of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were marred by complications. There were screen issues, audio issues, and quality control issues galore. There’s also an issue with the phones randomly rebooting. Thankfully, Google is working on a fix to that last one, and it should be deployed in the “coming weeks,” either on its own or as part of a monthly security update. The issue has been affecting both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, and it plays out exactly how you would think: it causes the phone to reboot at complete random times. At best that’s annoying, at worst it’s interrupting important phone calls. It’s definitely something that needs to be fixed as soon as possible, and it sounds like Google is trying to do just that. Unfortunately, it’s not the only issue affecting two otherwise fantastic phones. Google is almost definitely looking into all the other issues and will likely release another statement when they’re ready to getting check another one off the list. Share This With The World!
