LG Announces Optimus 3D Cube Smartphone Dylan Duarte February 23, 2012 It might be called the 3D cube, but you don’t have to worry about stuffing a Rubik’s Cube-sized device in your pocket; this phone is still shaped like the regular old “slate” style touchscreen smartphone you’ve come to know and love. The LG Optimus 3D Cube is thin and powerful, sporting a 3D camera with a glasses-free 3D screen. The specs are as follows: 4.3-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage, and a 1520mAh battery. It measures 126.8 x 67.4 x 9.6 mm, and that’s including the NFC chip that allows for the LG Tag system. According to LG, the phone will also get 3D video editing software and a 3D mapping application. The Optimus 3D Cube is coming to Korea in March. Still no word on whether it’ll hit our North American shores, so keep your ears to the South Korean ground. via The Verge Share This With The World!
