COMPUTEX 2011 – iPhone Goes Rugged with Luxa2 H10 Waterproof Bike Mount Michael Kwan June 3, 2011 Summer is here and that might mean that you’ll be hitting the mountain for some biking action. You can don that spandex with pride and protect your noggin with a suitable helmet, but what about the gadgetry that you want to bring with you? That has to stay safe too, right? Over at Computex Taipei 2011, Thermaltake off-shoot brand Luxa2 has a solution for all the iFolks who go riding with their iPhones. It’s called the Luxa2 H10 Waterproof Bike Mount (model number LH0012) and it’s designed for folks with bicycles. It latches onto a variety of handlebars, but it’s the ruggedness that you’ll appreciate. The water resistant case should keep your iPhone safe from rain and mud. There’s a special treated transparent screen cover that protects the display while still allowing you to do the touchscreen thing through it. There’s also a pass-through port down at the bottom so you can still use a dock connector cable. Who needs to invest in a separate rugged GPS when your iPhone (with this holder) can do the job?
