Adapting the Adapter Beth Snyder July 24, 2010 My niece was just telling me this story about going to the computer store with her husband for an adapter. He comes out with the adapter he needs, but upon opening the package he tells her he has to go back and buy an adapter to make the adapter he has purchased work correctly. So my niece, who is admittedly not a computer geek like the rest of us, asks him, “So you’re telling me I have to buy an adapter in order to adapt the adapter I already bought so it can make the thing we need to adapt be correctly adapted?” He tells her yes. And she informs him that this is why she thinks all of his computer stuff is stupid. I have to admit, the woman’s got a point! bit-tech starts us off with the Lian Li PC-Q08 mini-ITX Case TechRadar weighs in on the Intel Core i7 875K TrustedReviews points and shoots the Samsung ST70 Hardware Secrets goes mobile with the Motorola Droid X Cell Phone Phoronix examines the ECS H57H-MUS Black Series Guru3D takes a look at the KFA2 GeForce GTX 460 1024MB GC and SOC ThinkComputers hooks up with the Choiix Power Fort Portable Battery Pack TweakTown gives a listen to the ASUS Cine5 Five Channel Surround Sound Speaker KitGuru gets into the Crucial C300 256GB SSD ASE Labs focuses on the AirLink101 SkyIPCam777W BURNED iN shares its thoughts on the SilverStone HDDBoost Technic3D checks ou tthe Corsair AX1200 PSU ChannelPro spends some time with the TrippLite RackMount HotHardware chills out with the EVGA GTX 480 Hydro Copper FTW To close out this selection, CCE Reviews goes in-depth with the QNAP TS-559 Pro Turbo NAS Share This With The World!
