Raspberry Cake Day Beth Snyder July 19, 2011 The funny thing is, where I live the raspberries have already come and gone. But today is the day to make cake with them and eat it. If it wasn’t so unbearably hot I might consider it, but there is no conceivable reason that would make me turn on my oven today. The thermometer in my dining room currently reads 98F, and we do not have air conditioning. But if you live somewhere that raspberries are still on the vine, and if it’s not too hot, or if you just want to run to the store and buy one…today is the day for eating raspberry cake. Enjoy!
