My friends assure me it is sick and wrong that I am looking at three days with my niece’s family as a vacation. But for me, it is! No work, which is already a huge plus, and then you add in not having to be at my house, getting to eat carbohydrates (I love my mother and I know it’s healthier to eat the way we do, but sometimes I just want some mashed potatoes), and getting to spend time buried under a pile of kids…it’s a little slice of heaven!
