Work yesterday absolutely kicked my behind to next Tuesday, and I’m back again today. And tomorrow. And Sunday. But hey…at least I’m working! Hundreds of thousands of people are not, and I will be joining them plenty soon enough! And an acquaintance reminded me last night how lucky I am to have a job that (most days) I love, that many people consider to be neat. Which is good, because by the time I finally made it home I was fairly certain that either a non-thinking factory job or perhaps a sledgehammer between the eyes would be preferable to going back. You’ll have that.
